About Us
Dr. Gunjan Kumar did his MBBS from LTMMC (Sion hospital), Mumbai; MD in Medicine from PGI Ram Manohar Lohia Hospital (PGI RML), New Delhi; DM in Neurology from prestigious National Institute of Mental Health and Neurosciences (NIMHANS), Bangalore.
He established the Department of Neurology at AIIMS, Patna and headed the same from 2016-2019. The Department became synonymous with his name and was one of the busiest in the Institute catering to thousands of patients.Dr Gunjan is an experienced Neurologist dealing with cases of headache including migraine, Trigeminal autonomic cephalgia, facial pain; Epilepsy and seizures; Cervical and lumbar problems; autoimmune disorders like NMO, autoimmune encephalitis, Myasthenia Gravis; Movement disorders including Parkinson's disease, Dystonia, Tremors, Wilson's disease; Infections of the brain like TBM, Encephalitis; peripheral neuropathies; Stroke including haemorrhage, ischemic and venous strokes.

Dr Gunjan Kumar is the first Indian Neurologist to receive the prestigious International Headache Society Scholarship for training in headache from Ireland. He is frequently invited as faculty for lectures on headache, neuropathies, movement disorders and epilepsy at national and local conferences. Dr Gunjan was the organising secretary of the largest Neurology Conference in the state of Bihar - ANEIMIDCON 2018; 1st Neuroimmunology Update of Bihar and other updates.
